Create your own bands and new memories together.
This workshop is designed to give couples the unique opportunity to create their own wedding bands from start to finish in my jewelry studio in Charleston, SC. I will provide step by step instructions as we work our way through basic metal fabrication techniques to hand make your own custom rings. You do not need any prior jewelry making experience for this workshop. You will have the opportunity to customize your bands by choosing your metal type, band width, and adding textures or stamping if you choose. This is a wonderful way to learn a new skill set together and a great alternative to the traditional jewelry store experience, at a comparable price.

At your consultation we will:
Discuss design, choose a metal type and color (yellow, white, or rose gold), choose finish and or texture.
Determine your ring sizes
After your consultation I will email you an estimate for your total cost
Schedule workshop date (Allow for 2 weeks between these dates and class is 4-6 hours on average}
At your workshop you will:
Learn how to measure metal to your ring size, saw, use a torch to solder, form metal with pliers and hammering.
Finish your ring with a variety of sanding and polishing techniques deepening on your desired finish.
Leave with your finished wedding bands that you have handcrafted for each other.
Celebrate with a champagne toast!
Workshop Cost
The workshop fee is $650 per couple/ $500 individual
The cost of materials (which is dependent on your customized metal and size options, but couples rings typically average somewhere between $800 and $1,500 for materials.)
Any additional options such as stamping or texture which is an additional $50 per band.
$650 + Materials + Add Ons = Total
